This charming island has narrow streets with 1,500 beach+ cottages; Balboa Island entices both visitors and locals throughout the year. With more than 70 boutiques, art, and gift shops, cafes and restaurants, it has much to offer in ambiance!  Our historical Balboa Ferry departs from the Balboa Peninsula seven days a week, throughout the day and evenings arriving at Palm Street, and providing a memorable ride across the bay for a nominal fee.

"Always a dedicated and reliable professional." Laura Gale is a Realtor who has been awarded the "President Elite"  honor and is currently in the top 13% of the Coldwell Banker sales force.

Serving on the Board of Directors of the Balboa Island Improvement Association and the Business Improvement District of Marine Avenue, Laura is also Liaison between Balboa Island Business Association and Balboa Island Improvement Association.

The monthly publication "AROUND THE ISLAND" was a concept that Laura encouraged Coldwell Banker to launch. She now serves as the Chief Editor for this local newsletter.

A proud Los Angeles native who moved to Balboa Island about 30 years ago Laura knew the first time she drove over the bridge that she would make this her home and enjoy the unique life style that Balboa Island offers.
